This November, the Oakton Library is hosting National Novel Writing Month.

It’s a hands-on writing adventure where everyday people all around the world write a 50,000-word novel in 30 days!

No judges, no fees, just a whole lot of fun! The writing begins on November 1st!

Monday, November 1st
12:30 pm—1:30 pm

NaNoWriMo Kick-off

Join us for our first Library Write-in!

Take a deep breath, gather your thoughts, and write!
Remember, quantity, not quality, counts!

Des Plaines Campus:

If you plan to use computers in the classroom, please bring a flash drive so you can save your work!  Computers are available on a first come first serve basis.

RHC (Skokie) Campus:

If you plan to write in the Library, please bring a flash drive so you can save your work!  Computers are limited, so we recommend that you bring your laptop.
