Come Write In!

This November, the Oakton Library is hosting National Novel Writing Month Write-ins.

NaNoWriMo is a hands-on writing adventure where everyday people all around the world write a 50,000-word novel in 30 days! No judges, no fees, just a whole lot of fun!

If you plan to write in the Library, please bring a flash drive so you can save your work!

Locations:

Des Plaines Campus:Library Classroom 2418

Computers are available on a first come, first served basis. You may want to bring your laptop.

RHC (Skokie) Campus:Library A200

Computers are limited. You may want to bring your laptop.

Come Write-in Dates:

  • Nov. 1, Monday, 12:30–1:30 pm
  • Nov. 4, Thursday, 5–6 pm
  • Nov. 10, Wednesday, 10:30–11:30 am
  • Nov. 16, Tuesday, 3–4 pm
  • Nov. 19, Friday, 11 am–12 pm
  • Nov. 22, Monday, 3–4 pm
  • Nov. 24, Wednesday, 2–3 pm
    Last chance to write in the Library before Thanksgiving break!
  • Tuesday, November 30th, 4–5 pm
