Are you a writer? Looking for a challenge? Why not try Script Frenzy.

Writers across the world are committing themselves to write 100 pages of scripted material in 30 days during the month of April.  Screenplays, stage plays, TV shows, short films, and graphic novels are all welcome.

There is no penalty for not finishing, and rough drafts count. Why not try it?

Here are some books new at Oakton’s Library that may be helpful if you decide to participate.

Playwriting: Brief & Brilliant
by Julie Jensen

Save the Cat! Goes to the Movies: The Screenwriters Guide to Every Story Ever Told
by Blake Snyder

Screenplay: The Foundations of Screenwriting
by Syd Field

Talk the Talk: A Dialogue Workshop for Scriptwriters
by Penny Penniston

In addition, Script Frenzy has some great writer’s resources on their website.
