In this graphic novel by Drew Weing, The main character of this book is a struggling poet who gets run out of bars for taking up space from paying customers and hangs out at the docks trying to write odes to the sea. One night he gets shanghaied and learns what life at sea is truly all about.

I loved Set To Sea so much that I read it twice. The graphics are amazingly detailed and deserve to be looked over in depth. The storyline may seem simple to some, but I found it inspired. The main character tries to write about the sea, but he does not understand the life at sea. When he is dragooned into working at sea, he slowly matures and gains a true knowledge of his subject matter. I loved how the story ends, but I refuse to ruin it for you. You will just have to check it out for yourself.
